Discovering Who We Are

When the bell rang this morning, Mrs. Sutusky asked us to pass in our homework from the previous night. We had all written a half a page paper on how we think our best friend would describe us. It was obvious that we all felt uncomfortable. Saying nice things about yourself in front of everyone is a challenge. But we all got through the assignment and I realized that being confident in who you are doesn't necessarily mean that you're vain. We continued learning about ourselves by filling out a quilt square that represented our strengths, our dreams, our beliefs, and our insecurities. This was just another reminder of who we are and what we are capable of.
