Barriers to Learning

On Wednesday, we started the class with our journal and wrote pot notes to all of the other cadets. Next, we got into our groups and finished our Barriers to Learning projects. Breanna and I focused on latchkey children and adolescent sleep depravation. Other groups concentrated on issues such as depression, teen pregnancy, abuse and neglect, and poverty. I think this project helped us understand the different things that students struggle with and the things that we will have to adjust to when we begin our placement.
